For GreenMoms, Dads, Grandparents, kids, animal lovers and anyone who wants to try to be a little greener. All shades of green are welcome. Past events have included trips to a local organic farm, composting workshop, and a visit to the animal sanctuary in Folsom. We should have a listing of upcoming events for fall soon!

You do not have to be head over heels for cloth diapers and compost bins to join up, but it would be great if you are open minded. This is a great place to share ideas about being a 'green' parent of the 21st century, to make some friends, and of course, have some fun! We will try to have meetups on the weekends so that the whole family can come.

It's NOT easy being GREEN~~~ Let's support each other in our endeavors and learn new things along the way! This group is open to anyone, moms, dads, grandparents, aunties, anyone! Anyone who is doing their part or who is interested in doing their part in conserving our resources for our children and their children. Recycling should not be an option, it should be mandatory. Let's spread the word!
