Soap Nuts Laundry Soap   previous | next          PDF Print E-mail

Maggie's Soap NutsTM are the only laundry soap that grows on trees! Truly effective, 100% natural and safe for your most sensitive skin. Soap NutsTM are the dried fruit of the Chinese Soapberry tree. They contain saponin, a natural cleaner used for thousands of years to clean clothes, just like the plants used by Native Americans for washing. This is one of the only laundry detergents that does not contain 1-4 dioxane, a cancer causing contaminant produced in the manufacturing process of making detergents.

This might not clean stains out of my clothes as well as Seventh Generation laundry detergent. But, it also does not contain 1-4, dioxane (the cancer causing contaminant present in most detergents). However, the eco-friendly detergents (like Seventh Generation) have really reduced presence of this contaminant compared to mainstream industry detergents.

WHY are we still settling for "green" products that have a "reduced" presence of contaminants? Seventh Generation products still contain sodium laurel sulfate which is a known carciogen, toxin and genetic mutagen. We need to demand products that have ZERO presence of contaminants!! After 2 years of searching I have finally found an all natural product that is 100% safe for me, my kids, my pets and our planet AND THEY ACTUALLY WORK!!! See for yourself www.wowgreen.net/onebyone
